FEBRUARY
WHAT’S IN YOUR CARDS?
Get clear on what’s most important to you in your career and in your life.
Tuesday, February 25th: 6:00-8:30 PM
Come join Anush Hansen, Certified Career Counselor and owner of Kennebunk Counseling, for a special Driven Women series group event. Anush will lead a fun and interactive career values card sort exercise that will help you clarify and prioritize what you truly want out of your career, and affirm what you need for achieving a healthier work-life balance.
Fulfillment in your work and your life is very much dependent on your career being in line with your values. Knowing your values and priorities can help you make better career decisions and find a job that speaks true to who you are, and provides you with the opportunities you need to thrive.
But how do you figure out what those values are? And how can you align those values with your current job or when looking for a new one? This highly interactive group activity will help you sort through it all, build self-awareness, and give you valuable information to help you move closer to having the kind of career and life you want.

As women, it’s natural for us to want to find connection, meaning, and purpose in what we do. But with so many competing roles and responsibilities, it’s easy for us to lose sight of what matters most to us when it comes to our career. Anush Hansen, Certified Career Counselor & Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-C), and Jen Hart, Strengths Coach, Career Practitioner, and Educator, are co-facilitating a six-week career development and support group for women who want to work on uncovering their interests, values, natural talents, needs, and goals, and move toward a more authentic career and life.
The goals of this six-week career development and support group are:
- To foster collaboration, connection, and support among professional women in the community;
- To build insight and awareness around career interests, natural talents, and values;
- To aid in the creation of and vision for future growth and development; and
- To help identify concrete steps for moving toward an authentic and fulfilling career.
Each week, the group will engage in a specific, interactive career exploration activity, followed by a supportive group discussion. The weekly agenda will be as follows:
Week 1: Welcome, building group cohesion & reflecting on how your personality plays into your work.
Week 2: Exploring & articulating your career and work/life balance values.
Week 3: Who You Are Matters – Sparking meaningful conversations & connections about what’s next.
Week 4: Clifton StrengthsFinder – Reflection on personal talents, growth mindset & how they impact your life & career.
